Corrie,
I "totally" understand where you were coming from in wanting to mention the graphics and stay-at-home-mom lingo. Truthfully, I think many women "do" have to get past that, as many just can't relate to it and would be quick to, sadly, dismiss her site - I had to get past it, and I'm so glad I did, as I adore FlyLady and what she teaches. However, like you, I try to "prepare" people before sharing about the site. hehe :)

Hi Dee - I appreciate your honesty. In my defense, I wasn't trying to bash the Flylady site, but those are actually things that turned me off at first as a designer! My intention was to communicate that I found the site extremely helpful, so that others who might be initially turned off by those things would be willing to give the site a closer look. Thanks for visiting my site - I'm sorry that you found my words offensive.

I am not impressed with your willingness to bash someone's site who you obviously admired on some level. The graphics and stay at home mom lingo are not the essence of the site. No site is perfect. However, I would rather visit a site that is encouraging and positive rather than a site who bashes others.
