Kittens up for adoption

I took up-to-date pictures and put together bios for this weekend’s adoption fair. If you’ll be in the Sacramento area, stop by the Davis Petco around noon to meet them in person! We’ll be giving them baths on Friday to clean off the soot and dust. 🙂

Puddle

Puddle

Puddle is white with a ginger striped tail and blue eyes. He is sometimes playful and active, but generally has a mellow, quiet personality and loves to nap. Puddle is affectionate and will purr loudly when you pet him or cuddle him.

Puddle is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, litter-box trained, loves dry or wet cat food, and has only been indoors.

Rocket

Rocket

Rocket is a ginger tabby with grey eyes (turning green?). He loves to cuddle and has fallen asleep on people’s laps before. Rocket is active and playful and doesn’t like to be alone; another animal friend or another companion at home would be ideal.

Rocket had surgery for a hernia recently and is recovering nicely. If there is bulging in his stomach, however, please take him in to a vet to have it checked out.

Rocket is neutered, litter-box trained, loves dry or wet cat food, and has only been indoors.

Sophie

Sophie

Sophie is a dilute tortoiseshell with olive green eyes. She was the runt of the litter, but her feisty personality kept her from getting run over by her brothers and sisters! Sophie will probably be a smaller cat. She is very playful and independent but loves attention and cuddles, judging by the loud purrs that she gives.

Sophie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, litter-box trained, loves dry or wet cat food, and has only been indoors.

Tapioca

Tapioca

Tapioca is white with beautiful blue eyes. His ginger tail has thin white stripes. He is pretty vocal and likes to interact and play with people and the other kittens.

Tapioca is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, litter-box trained, loves dry or wet cat food, and has only been indoors.

Tofu

Tofu

Tofu is fawn-grey with beautiful Siamese-tabby markings — a striped tail, faint stripes on her arms and legs, faint tabby markings on her head, slightly dark ears, and blue eyes. She is very cuddly and has fallen asleep on people before. Tofu is an active kitten and loves to play with people and the other kittens. She would most likely be happiest with another companion.

Tofu is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, litter-box trained, loves dry or wet cat food, and has only been indoors.

  1. Good luck finding homes for all the little guys! I wish that I was able to take Sophie off your hands- but alas… I already have two wonderful brats and on the other coast. *sigh*

  2. Cute! I’m sort of glad we’re not nearby, as I’m sure Brian or Analise would fall in love with one of them, in spite of my allergies! You’ve put some serious $$ into them with the spaying/neutering, vaccines and microchips! Good luck this weekend!

  3. Ayesha97 – Thanks for visiting!

Kristine – Actually, the SPCA covers all the fees for spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips. We only paid for Rocket’s surgery (and neutering) since that was done through a separate vet. The new owners pay the SPCA when they adopt a cat to cover all those expenses!

  4. how i wish i were nearby (for more reasons than the kittens) and so much that my building was pet friendly! but how would i chose? i guess i’d let them choose me (isn’t that how it always goes?)

    best of luck for all..

  5. Sophie got adopted this weekend. We didn’t get to say goodbye. 😦 Steve was disappointed that only ONE kitten got adopted because they were the smallest and cutest of the many cats at the adoption fair.

  6. I am looking for a kitten in my area to adopt…. i would like to adopt two little girl sisters…. I am only 11 so i cannot make this decision by myself…. I live in Georgia…. Where do you live? Sophie is very cute but i am not looking for a white colored cat like the rest of them….

  7. Hi Jordan —
If you look at the date of this post, you can see that this is from quite a while ago! All the kittens have been adopted and are several months old now. We adopted Nutmeg ourselves. You might try having your parents contact your local SPCA or animal shelter to see if they have any kittens available for adoption!

  8. ohhhhh…. thx! we are going to adopt two little girl kittens….. (sisters)
BTW-what state do you live in?

  9. Hi there, Toni here,
I was wondering if you knew what breed or mix Puddle is? We have a very similar looking kitten and know nothing about the parents! If you do know, it would be great to hear from you!

  10. Hi. I was wondering what breeds puddle is mixed with. I have a cat that looks just like him and I’m trying to figure it out. I’m thinking siamese is in there because he’s very vocal and hyper active and hates being alone.
